As the original “mother” Stud Book for the Thoroughbred, the General Stud Book was first published in 1791.
Volume (48) due to be published in October contains the thoroughbred foaling records in Great Britain and Ireland, from 2013 to 2016 inclusive. This represents the latest chapter in the unbroken General Stud Book record stretching back to 1791. The British and Irish records provide a clearer picture of the activity in both countries.
Please note: Only full calf volumes can be initialled (up to 4 letters) for an additional £50.00
